(Concept · Architecture · Rewards)
1. Overview
As a Miner, you provide real, verifiable hashpower to the DogeLayer network by connecting your mining devices through a proxy service.
Your infrastructure contributes directly to decentralized mining validation, and rewards are distributed proportionally based on measured real-world performance.
What DogeLayer Miners Do
- Perform real hash computation (DOGE, LTC, and supported assets)
- Connect to mining pools through a DogeLayer proxy
- Provide measurable hashrate and share data to validators
- Participate in decentralized reward distribution
- Support transparent, on-chain–aligned mining verification
2. Miner Capabilities (Updated)
Miners on DogeLayer support scalable and professional-grade mining setups.
- A single miner may operate multiple rigs
- All rigs can share the same hotkey
- Each rig may optionally use a worker name suffix
- All rigs under the same hotkey are automatically aggregated
- Aggregated metrics are used for:
- Evaluation
- Scoring
- Reward attribution
- Backward compatible with miners using a pure hotkey format
